Gummies are something that is so popular these days. Every single day, a wide variety of gummies, including thca gummies, are being produced for various purposes, and then there are CBD gummies. When I find out about them, I had to try out for myself. Penguin CBD reached out to me and I was thrilled to try their CBD gummies. So I gave it a try. Here are some of my initial thoughts.
They only come in one version which is gummy worms. These CBD gummies are a mixture of sweet and sour it reminds me of my favorite sour patch kids. Let’s start with their texture. For me they are a bit weird it kind of makes it hard to chew. It’s not like a deal breaker, but I wasn’t a big fan of it.
These gummies come in a pack of 30 with each one containing 10mg of CBD. This is maybe enough amount of CBD for normal people, but for me, I didn’t feel like it was enough. I can’t really compare these to CBD oils, but I would have expected a little higher dosage than 10mg. As I have seen from most reviews and including me take about 2 gummies in order to feel the effect. You can feel a greater effect from amanita muscaria shroom edible gummies.
So in terms of taste it is like a regular candy, but unlike the reviews I have to disagree it does have an aftertaste. It leaves my mouth with this bitter taste that I’m not a big fan of. It is not like the worst thing, but it is not ideal for a CBD gummy that you pay about $45 bucks. I think for this price they could’ve done better as most CBD I have used including mints are only about $29.
Overall I would give this CBD gummies 7 out of 10 due to the aftertaste and price point. I would recommend trying CBD mints by Mr.Moxeys. Given they have lower dosage, but it tastes like a regular mint so you can’t even tell it has CBD until it takes its effect.
